CHC30202 - Certificate III in Home and Community Care (HACC)

This qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed by workers to carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individual's personal care and/or activities of living.  These workers report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers.

 

Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of services.

HLT33207 - Certificate III in Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care

Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care covers workers who provide Health Care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Clients, usually part of a team, with ongoing supervision and guidance.

This qualification covers workers who provide a range of Primary Health Care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients, including specific health care programs, advice and assistance with medication.

 

These workers can be expected to flexibly assume a variety of job roles and undertake a broad range of tasks.  This qualification is suited to Australian Apprenticeship pathways.

HLT43907 - Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice)

HLT44007 - Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Community Care)

This qualification covers workers who provide a range of Primary Health Care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients, including specific health care programs.

 

These workers can be expected to flexibly assume a variety of job roles and undertake a broad range of tasks.  This qualification is suited to Australian Apprenticeship pathways.

HLT52107 - Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Prmary Health Care (Practice)

51450 - Certificate IV in Health Science Foundations

This qualification provides a bridging or introductory course to allow entry to the Diploma of Nursing for people without a strong science background.

51716 - Certificate IV in Bush & Western Herbal Medicine (Community Care)

This qualification enables students to use Western Herbal and Bush Medicine within their own communities, and to equip students with the skills and knowledge to make their own products.

HLT52207 - Diploma of Aboriginal &/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Community Care)

The Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Care (Community Care) defines the knowledge and skills for workers involved in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care and who work autonomously under the broad guidance of others.  The Diploma qualification covers workers who have a basis of skills and knowledge in Primary Health Care Practice, which they may apply in program delivery, management, policy or education functions.

HLT51607 - Diploma of Enrolled Nursing

This qualification covers the application of Nursing skills and knowledge required to be eligible for the enrolment with State/Territory Nursing and Midwifery Regulatory Authorities as an Enrolled Nurse (or registration as a Division 2 Nurse in Victoria)
